1st official Global Time Attack

Ive been procrastinating a lot lately, as usual, but thought id sit down and make a couple of posts about the events Ive been to between the LBGP and now. First off was the first ever Global Time Attack, which was held at Willow Springs Raceway in May 2011. John Naderi marketed his goods and was successful in bringing some pretty big guns to the show. Chris Rado with the double winged time attack Scion TC cars, GST with their choptop Impreza driven by Jeff Westphal, AFI Turbo S2000, UMS Tuning from AZ, the Berk team with their BMW, Snail Performance, GMR Racing, RDR, Sportcar Motion, JC Meynet, LIC Motorsports, DB Tuned, Mazdatrix, “White Donkey” lol, Apollo Performance, Matt Dennison, and Evolution Racewerks all showed up to kill some track records.

Old Days

Im just sitting here at 2:30 in the morning, thinking about the day when none of us had any responsibilities and we could work on our cars all day, and cruise all night. Here are a couple of videos my old Z club friend and fellow member, Nick Gregson, made after filming a couple of outings. Im guessing this was 7-8 years ago. You can see my black 280zx in the first video, doing donuts, racing a turbo MR2 in the rain, and my silver 280zx in the second video. Nick had a red 280zx, and our friend Matthew Briggs had a white 240z which was the very first SR20 swapped classic Z in SoCal. How time flies. Hope you are doing well Nick and Matt!

So, everything forgotten, I found myself at the Long Beach Grand Prix. This is exactly where I want to be.
